This year’s Christmas In Edgartown will take place with appropriate (and magical) modifications to continue Edgartown’s work of keeping our community safe, supported, and open for business. Our committee is diligently working to re-imagine your favorite traditions. Every second weekend of December (THURSDAY DEC. 8 - SUNDAY DEC. 11 2022) Martha’s Vineyard invites you to join thousands of people visiting the Island to celebrate Christmas in Edgartown. Voted Martha’s Vineyard Best Off-Season Event, this weekend-long festival is packed with family-friendly events that capture the magic of the holidays. For over 3 decades Christmas in Edgartown raises more than $50,000 annually in total donations for many charities and nonprofits on the Vineyard. Here is a schedule of some of the must-see events:

5:30 PM - 7:00 PM - Annual Santa Fun Run with Amity Island Running Club
[Bad Martha Farmer's Brewery]. Get your Silly Santa Fun Run on this Thursday with the Amity Island Running Club. Meet at Bad Martha’s at 5:30 PM. Prize for most festive outfit! The Amity Island Running Club is a running group on Martha's Vineyard - Everyone welcome!
5:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Christmas Concert at The Federated Church
[The Federated Church] All are welcome to come celebrate the Christmas season with music from New England’s own Ben Laine. The evening will be kicked off with songs from Pastor/musician Sean McMahon of the Community Baptist Church of Gay Head (Aquinnah). Admission is FREE! Donations will be accepted to support the musicians. Bring your friends and family and enjoy traditional Christmas tunes as well as original music that celebrates the reason for the season.

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Martha's Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite Fundraiser
[Point B Realty] The magic of the Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite is back! Enjoy the new outdoor event location in the Nevin Square Courtyard PLUS a Teddy Bear Photo Suite at 29 Winter Street. All of the money raised goes to support the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club. Stop by and enjoy festivities and be sure to bring your camera for some great photo opportunities with the teddies!

[The Carnegie] Kids will build their own holiday poppers, decorate them to celebrate at their holiday celebrations. For the littles they will color printouts in the Dickensian holiday theme. Vineyard Gazette will bring their red fire truck to serve cider and hot cocoa. Holiday Photos with the Vineyard Gazette classic 1955 vintage Chevy Pickup decked out for the holiday will be parked outside.

8:45 AM - 9:45 AM - Holiday Hustle
[Martha's Vineyard Boys & Girls Club] The Martha's Vineyard Boys & Girls Club is excited to be hosting the "Holiday Hustle" as part of the Christmas in Edgartown festivities! All ages and levels are encouraged to run or walk this 5k course that weaves through downtown Edgartown. We encourage you to show your holiday spirit by wearing festive holiday attire, awards will be given for best dressed. Dogs and strollers are welcomed!
The pre-race entrance fee is $30.00 for the 5k and $10.00 for the Kids' Fun Run. Day of registration is $35.00 for the 5k and $15.00 for the Fun Run and will be available from 7:30-8:30 on December 11th at the Martha's Vineyard Boys & Girls Club.
Early bib pick-up and in person registration is on Saturday, December 10th from 1-2pm at the Martha's Vineyard Boys & Girls Club. All proceeds go directly to supporting the work of the Martha's Vineyard Boys and Girls Club.

[Martha's Vineyard Boys & Girls Club] Join the culinary team from the Martha's Vineyard Boys & Girls Club as we transform the club into a winter wonderland for this family fun pancake breakfast with Santa. We will have a delicious meal, MV Photobus, DJ Rockwell, and lots of fun kids activities for your little ones. This is the perfect way to cap off Christmas in Edgartown weekend.

[Edgartown School] This annual holiday event features the work of some of our amazing Island artists and craftspeople. Free parking on site. Food concessions provided by the 8th Grade Class. Come take care of all your holiday shopping. Benefiting Edgartown School Class of 2023.
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Holiday Dog Show
[Mini Park] Dress your for four-legged friend for the Holiday Dog Show! Stop by the Mini Park from 11 am - 1 pm to enter your pal, take a photo, and continue on your merry way. Sparkle, shine, costumes and cheer are strongly recommended.
The Dog Show will benefit the Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard.
